What happens

Members and admins put together outings in the community's groups, and you join the ones you like. The aim is a safe, friendly place for people who did not know each other before.

Depends on the activity.

Who it's for

People who want new friends. The minimum age is 21 and there is an upper age limit; both are set out in their rules. Their rules say it is not a dating site.

Cost

Joining is free. The community runs on voluntary donations, and some events have a fee.

How you join

Through the link on their website, which takes you into their WhatsApp community. Events are announced there and shown on the calendar on their website.

When

Good to know

• To stay a member you are expected to come to an event in person at least once every three months.
• Read their rules before joining. They cover conduct, consent and what gets someone removed.
• Commercial and political promotion is not allowed in the groups.
• If you leave an event, their rules ask you to say so in the group, so nobody worries.
• Their website has a calendar of upcoming events, at the bottom of the home page. Details are shared in the community.
